Alexandre Jacques Chantron (1842 – 1918) was a French artist, whose later career evolved from painting nude study and photography.

He was a member of the Society of French Artists (Société des artistes français). He participated in the regular art exhibitions Salon des Artistes Français.

He significantly influenced the creation of such artists such as Tony Robert-Fleury, William-Adolphe Bouguereau and François-Édouard Picot.
